Experience
Augusto’s field of expertise is the historical research of ancient societies, particularly Egyptology. Since 2003, he has been a research fellow in collective research projects. He was a doctoral and postdoctoral fellow at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council.
Augusto has published articles in professional journals and has written book chapters. In addition, he has co-edited collective books and has lectured in conferences and symposiums. Augusto currently runs RIHAO Journal (Revista del Instituto de Historia Antigua Oriental).
Since 2013, he has been teaching assistant in the Ancient History / (East) chair at the University of Buenos Aires. He has also published interviews and coordinated the dissemination of content on historical matters.
Education
Augusto holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of Buenos Aires. He furthered his postgraduate studies at the same university, where he earned a PhD in history. He has participated in seminars and postgraduate courses in several institutions.
